When you submit your email address to join our waitlist, we store it solely to notify you when our service becomes available. We do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.
Usage analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. This service collects data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and may set cookies on your device. Google may transfer this data to servers in the United States.
Chat messages and session content
When you use our AI companion service, we collect and store the content of your conversations, including text messages you send and responses generated on your behalf, as well as session metadata such as your chosen companion, virtual world state, inventory, in-game actions, and interaction history (collectively, "Interaction Data"). This data is necessary to operate the service and to maintain continuity between sessions.
We use aggregated and pseudonymised Interaction Data — including conversation transcripts, session histories, world states, and in-game choices — to research, develop, improve, evaluate, and train the artificial intelligence systems that power this service. This includes, without limitation: fine-tuning language models, improving response quality and character consistency, developing new companion personalities, building evaluation benchmarks, and conducting internal analytics and safety research.
By using the service and accepting these terms, you grant BENPIRE GmbH a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, process, adapt, and analyse your Interaction Data for these AI development purposes. We may share pseudonymised or aggregated Interaction Data with trusted third-party AI research partners or model providers under confidentiality obligations.
We will not sell identifiable personal data to third parties. Data used for AI training is pseudonymised prior to any external sharing — direct identifiers such as names and email addresses are removed or replaced before such data leaves our systems.

Each of these providers acts as a data processor under a data-processing agreement or equivalent safeguards. We do not authorise them to use your data for their own independent purposes beyond those described in their respective terms.
BENPIRE GmbH is incorporated in Switzerland. Some of the service providers listed above may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. Where such transfers occur, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or Switzerland's equivalent adequacy mechanisms to ensure an adequate level of protection.
